Call Progress Tone Detection(CPD):-

Many new generation Telco exchange do not provide reversal facility and hens sensing call maturity of outgoing calls at the customer premises is not possible. Duration of outgoing calls cannot be arrived at without maturity single from the Telco exchange. This leads to meaningless calculation of call costs as the duration itself is not accurate.

Computer Connectivity:-

                                                                                                  
NC EPABX is capable of transferring data on any computer. All the PCs have communication ports called COM1 and COM2. NC EPABX can communicate with PC through  COM1 and COM2. NC provides optional communication cable. Please  contact NC dealer or the company for the same.

Communication Ports:-

The NC EPABX is capable of communicating with the outside world. Built-in-serial. Communicating ports is capable of sending and receiving information. These ports are industry standard RS-232C compatible. One-9 pin male connector (DB-9) is extended from the system for connection with the external device.

Configuration Reports:-


NC EPABX supports facility of printing of various programming. It is desirable to check and verify that all the programming is done as per requirement.  These Print-outs of all the values. These print –out may also be filed for future reference. Anytime a change in programming is required, you can always refer the existing programming.

Day and Night Modes:-


Broadly speaking you can devide EPABX operating time into two parts:-

  1. During office hours-Day Mode.
  2. After office hours(it includes holiday)-Night Mode.

To allow efficient management of trunk calls and to avoid misuse of facilities and feature, separate configuration is used for Day and Night modes.

Demonstration Of Tones:-


To facilitate live and easy training, NC EPABX supports demon station of all system tones.

Direct Outward System Access (DOSA):-

This facility allow you to make STD/ISD calls on your STD trunk outside of your office. You can make STD/ISD call using your office trunk from your residence or some other place.

External Music Port:-

The NC EPABX supports one audio input port which is used for connecting external source of music.

Help Report:-

Though it is desirable, it is not always practical to remember all the features and programming code.

Operator Console(DSS-70):-

NC system offer a features-rich operator console for effective call management. This operator console is being supplied as an option and is compatible. The console is based on Direct Station Selection for extension and trunks with 70 keys. That is why console is named DSS-70.

Power Down Operator:-


If mains fail and UPS is not attached, the EPABX operators in power-down mode. Intercom Operation stops. All the trunks are connected to different extensions directly.

Trunks Call Routing:-


Your NC is very flexible in directing trunks calls. Whenever there is a ring on the trunk, the EPABX sense it and directs that ring to one or more extension.
You can assign 5 different extensions to receive calls for each trunk. One or more of these extensions will ring one-after-the –other or simultaneously.

Direct Inward system Access(DISA or DID):-

                                                                      

You can program any trunk for Direct Inward System Access. You can give your extension numbers with trunk numbers to frequent callers. They can reach desired extension directly without operator assistance. This can save their time and reduce telephone bill by cutting

down on STD call duration. As for you, traffic load on operator is reduced.

External Call Forwarding:-

During night hours or holidays, you can divert your residence or your mobile phone. This facility of diverting your incoming trunk call is know as External Call Forwarding or ECF in shot.

Fax homing:-

Calling fax machines put a special tone on the trunk after dialing is complete. This signal is knows as fax CNG signal. NC EPABX has capability to detect this fax calling tone.

Operator(Secretary):-

Usually you can assign one person this job of receiving trunk calls and transferring them on to requested extensions. You can program operator’s extension as destination for calls on all trunks. Depending on traffic and conditions of phones, situation can very from a simple one to more complex.

Remote Display Units:-

These are optional devices available from NC. Remote display unit is very useful in monitoring status of trunk and extension of trunks and extensions. It has one LED for each extension and each trunks. Different status of extension and trunks like idle, busy dialing and ringing are effectively displayed on the LEDs.

Virtual Extensions:-


Is some applications, it is desirable to allow more extension to use DOSA facility. STD-PCO owner would like to allow his regular clients to allow STD/ISD access from their homes.
Voice Module facilities built in capability of recording and playback of voice messages without any external device opens possibilities of many innovative features and facilities.
