Purpose: CLI is an accessory,which can be connected to any Premium Model.
Function: it displays the incoming and outgoing call numbers.

FLOOR SERVICE DESTINATIONS
What this?

Purpose:Inhotels,all the room on one floor have a service for room boys.The guests are required to dial an extension number to call the room boy.It is required that all the guests are given common code.This feature is known as floor service

GUEST/SERVICE GROUP PROGRAMMING
What this?

Purpose: Inhotels,we can have three types of groups:Single guest group, Party guest group and service group>Each ectension can be classified under service group or guest group.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

What’s this?

Purpose:When system is used in hotels,check in and check out functions are performed.These Functions help to:

* Keep track of calls made from any room

* Know the room status

* Lock/unlock room’s extension automatically to misuse

* When the guest arrives at the hotel,the receptionist is supposed to check in the guest.The system
* Performs following functions,every time a check command is issued:

* New account is opened for that extension for the telephone calls

* The extension is unlocked for STD/Local calls depending on the set lock level

* Room status is changed to occupied
* The system also prompts you to enter the guest name
* Similarly,when the guest leaves the hotel the receptionist should check out the guest.the system

* Performs following functions,every time a check out command is issued.

* Detailed SMDR report with summary for thsat extension is printed

* The extension is locked for STD/local calls depending on the set lock level

* Room status changed to not cleaned

EXTENSION NAME PROGRAMMING

What is This?

Purpose: In any case you have entered wrong name of the guest then you can change the guest’s name by giving the command.Guest name programming is good idea because the name appears on his Call check out report with his room number.when the guest calls the reception for any assistance,his Name appears on the display an\d we can greet the guest with his name for e.g GOOD MORNING MR.PATEL!.This is a personalized service and guest is likely to feel happy hearing his name.

TEMPORARY CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Purpose:it is desireable to lock the extension in the guest room when the guest go out during the Daytime.This will avoid misuse of local/STD facility by hotel staff or other guests.

ROOM STATUS DISPLAY
What’s this?

Purpose: when the guest walks in for registration in hotel,the
Receptionist can find out which rooms are available,immediately.This feature is available only with DSS-70.status of all the rooms is displayed on the DSSS-70.

REMOTE ALARM
What’s this?

Purpose:In hotel applications,it is desirable to set wake up alarms for Guests from the reception.Once remote alarm is set,the system gives ring to the guest at the set Time.The guest extension rings for sometime.If the guest wake up and answers,he gets recorded music.If the guest does not respond,the alarm rings for 90 sec. and after that even the operators extension starts ringing and he can send room boy to wake up the guest.

SELECTIVE DELETION OF ASMDR RECORDS
What’s this?

Purpose: in hotel installation,it is not possible to delete the whole SMDR buffer at any point of
time,there are always some active checked in guests,deleting the whole buffer can disturb
Check-in/check-out mechanism.If the guest stays on for a long time then the oldest calls can be removed for the record of fresh calls.

TEMPORARY CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Purpose:it is desireable to lock the extension in the guest room when the guest go out during the Daytime.This will avoid misuse of local/STD facility by hotel staff or other guests.

PRIVATE TRUNK
What’s this?

Purpose:This feature can be used when a very important guest Arrives at your hotel.He could be given access to a dedicated trunk.He gets P&T dial tone every time

He lifts the handset.All incoming calls landing on the specified trunk are routed to extension.When The check out command is given for the extension,private trunk features gets cancelled automatically.

REMOTE ALARM STATUS
What’s this?

Purpose:while going to sleep,the receptionist can verify whether the wake up alarms are set or not.the DSS-70 allows checking pending alarms.

MESSAGE WAIT
What’s this?

Purpose:During daytime,when the guest go out for their work.
There may be many calls in their absence.The receptionist can use this feature.As soon as the guest returns,the telephone automatically rings and he will be connected to the receptionist and the message can be given thereof.

ROOM SHIFT
What’s this?

Purpose: many times a guest insists on changing his room
This feature,when used will automatically transfer the SMDR records,class of service,call Budgeting,private line message wait and alarms if active is transferred to the new extension.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT SERIAL NUMBERS
What’s this?

Purpose:to increase accountability.The management can keep track of serial no. to ensure
That all the check-in’s are accounted for.
